Trains (CP - Portuguese Railways)
The train service goes through the Algarve, from Lagos until Vila Real de Santo António with a changeover point in Tunes for Lisbon. Trains are fairly modern and have air conditioning.
Albufeira railway station is located in Ferreiras (about 5km north of Albufeira town) and can be reached by either Giro bus or taxi.
Faro railway station is located inside town, near the Marina and is over 6km east of Faro Airport which is reachable by local urban bus (no. 14 e 16) or taxi of course.
