what the euro rate in albufeira at the moment ? i got 1.20 from my local travel agents today. as im over for a week flying (27th feb) as my friend has an empty apartment ! got good deal on some flights .

Not doubting the veracity of your statement, but the Inter bank exchange rate is only €1.1832 at the moment. I should go to get a few more van loads at €1.20, before they all go.

managed to get 1.20 as me and the gf swapped £1000 into euros and taken out airport parking aswell. the rate in the window was 1.18

I think the more you exchange the better rate you get, and you can always bartar with the travel agents.

thats true whenever we have been to get euros we've always had a slightly better rate than advertised in the window i always try to buy large amounts to get a few more to the pound !!!
