After BoE notice of interest rate hike, pound has been on the up this week, touching 1.15 today ... highest for 6 months.

Interest rates rise pushing sterling over 1.17 again, falling back a wee bit, but may go up again as markets take stock.

Rate was good at 1.176 overnight, but some dumping again saw it down to 1.1689 this morning. Ramsdens is giving 1.1526 (under £1000) booked online, pick up in high street store.

Bit of a dip over September .. steadily down to 1.144 .. you will be lucky to get 1.07 in local exchanges. Ramsdens in UK high streets are at 1.128.
