I know I am old and cynical, but do we really need Christmas trees on the roundabouts on 5th November and every other advert on TV, both Portuguese and British, already has a Christmas theme. Leroy Merlin has it's Christmas home decorations on sale and stuff is also appearing in the supermarkets. Bah humbug!

And everywhere seeing Christmas trees (that ancient Portuguese tradition) and being invited to deck my halls with boughs of holly while in Continente and it's not even December!

Yep, Continente in both Silves and Messines are OTT on the Christmas effort. Christmas "chunes" been playing for over a week now. The amount of chocolates they have surpasses anything I've ever seen in the UK. It works though, I bought some lol!
