The little outdoor 'market' inthe square is open, as is the indoor skating rink.




Not very busy but this was around 5pm. Much busier later.

Paderne Nativity by the Parish Church from 9 Decembefr 1000 - 1900

Yep, Continente in both Silves and Messines are OTT on the Christmas effort. Christmas "chunes" been playing for over a week now. The amount of chocolates they have surpasses anything I've ever seen in the UK. I know I am old and cynical, but do we really need Christmas trees on the roundabouts on 5th November and every other advert on TV, both Portuguese and British, already has a Christmas theme. Leroy Merlin has it's Christmas home decorations on sale and stuff is also appearing in the supermarkets.
