It is warming up here. 20º at 0845 with 28 - 30º forecast for this afternoon and early evening, considerably hotter than it is has been this past week.

Another very hot day by the seaside is expected today, 33 or 34º mid afternoon. Then back to more sensible temperatures for the rest of the week.

Got yesterday wrong, but so did the official forecast! Thunderstorm for around 30 minutes mid morning yesterday. Very wet! There was some more rain during the night. Cloudy this morning, 21º at 0845 and very humid. Expecting a high of 27º today and about the same for the next few days.

Another cloudy start to the day by the seaside, but it should turn out nice by this afternoon as it did yesterday. Temperature at 0830 local time is 21º, it is very humid still. Max today 24º, not too windy.

Warmer than yesterday, 21º at 0845 and it should be a nice day with a maximum 25º. It's warming up towards the weekend when 33º is forecast, but I shall be on my way by then. Big problem with mosquitos Sunday and Monday. Worst they recall for many years. A lot of rain in July has left ditches and canals full of stagnant water, ideal breeding grounds. And they are big as well.

18º at 0815 this morning, expecting 23 or 24º this afternoon and it will be rather windy. At least that will keep the mosquitos away. Looks a lot warmer in Albufeira!

A pleasant but breezy day in prospect here. 21º at 1000am, rising to 24 or 25 this afternoon. Much hotter Friday and for the weekend, up to 37º, but I shall be gone by then.

Last morning by the seaside. 18º at 0830am, could reach 25 or 26º this afternoon and not too windy. But much hotter where I going, not 60 miles away to Bordeaux, 32º later today, 36º tomorrow and 41º on Sunday!

Hot! 29º in Bordeaux at 1130am rising to 36 this afternoon. Even hotter expected tomorrow, 40 or 41. I might have to curtail the sightseeing activities and take refuge in a bar.
