I'm surprised no one has mentioned them. I've been buying these for a while.

There's a few reviews here on this page  -

Apparently Morrison's and Sainsburys sell them, but I shop most weeks in Sainsburys and have not seen them there. I've been buying them from Tescos.

My wife and I have these almost daily when out in the Algarve but rarely have them in the UK. They are on sale in the Morrison's, Co Op, Nandos etc but are just not the same for me. Probably the lack of sunshine and gorgeous views that makes the difference.

Larger Morrison’s have them on a hop and a catch but agree with Col, they aren’t the same.
When you’re in Portugal most supermarkets have them at 50 cents a piece, if you want to bring some home get them from there, not at the airport where they are 2 euros a piece!!! Rip off!!!

They're no different from qhat we know in Norfolk as egg custard tarts. Been eating those since I was 5.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Nothing like custard tarts 😉 for a start it’s different pastry ..... Morrison’s do a fairly good one , but nothing like what you can get in albufeira and half the price too
