Nothing like custard tarts đŸ˜‰ for a start it’s different pastry ..... They're no different from qhat we know in Norfolk as egg custard tarts. Been eating those since I was 5.

Larger Morrison’s have them on a hop and a catch but agree with Col, they aren’t the same.
When you’re in Portugal most supermarkets have them at 50 cents a piece, if you want to bring some home get them from there, not at the airport where they are 2 euros a piece!!! My wife and I have these almost daily when out in the Algarve but rarely have them in the UK. They are on sale in the Morrison's, Co Op, Nandos etc but are just not the same for me. I'm surprised no one has mentioned them. I've been buying these for a while.

Apparently Morrison's and Sainsburys sell them, but I shop most weeks in Sainsburys and have not seen them there. I've been buying them from Tescos.
