My man in the know tells me that this is somewhere between "highly unlikely" and "complete BS" on the rumour scale, as is the sale of FdO back to Luna - sorry folks, no offence meant. The tale of a combined food court for all their three main interests is true - odd as that seems - but there are objections from other local business' to those plans.

Strange that as we were there just as it was closing(luna forte da Oura)that is and all the staff were transfered to the Oura Praia. We were booked in again for Feb 2015 and were informed that it was back in Luna hands and the staff were back as well.

I'll take my info from a senior manager from another reputable travel company rather than a few customers who have had a chat with a waiter.
