Bowling is now open. Currently only until 6pm but will be longer hours in main summer season. No shoe rental, wear your own. Their flyer below. Website is not yet operational.

A few doors way is a new 'Irish' pub, imaginatively called 'Jack's' that is getting towards opening but no sign to tell when.

What we need is another bogus Irish pub, begorrah!  Having visited Dublin and country pubs in Donegal I've yet to find an "Irish" bar outside Ireland that convinces.
It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

I used to live virtually next door to one in London D. It was a "normal" pub that sold Tayto crisps and that happened to be run by an Irish family. Just like the ones in Ireland I have visited - not a chuffin leprechaun or tricolour in sight... Great pub it was.

Very busy yesterday. It's a surfing thingy that shoots jets of water up so you can surf on it without going anywhere if you know what I mean.

Just tried the bowling and its 5 a game until the official opening mid may. tried to go karting  and as there is a kids price, thought they would just race kids then back to adults but was told there could be adults on when kids go. Stupid. Lost our trade. Was suggested I go too but what was to stop another couple of loons taking to the track .........The surf machine was 15 for 30 mins or 25 an hour or 80 an hour for family of 4. Had a quick go, put everyone else to shame, collected my gold medal on the podium and then woke up! Will sling Salomé on it next weekend as she has the balance of a thing with good balance!

I can recommend the ten pin bowling at the Marina - HOT Shot Bowling
A few of us went down a couple of weeks ago and had a great night
Hopefully the Marina will finally start to become somewhere worthwhile to go

Saw that new boat in the first picture going past Arife Beach earlier in the week. Strange looking thing but I'm sure has a purpose.
