Sure looks like it. Meanwhile, also closed for resurfacing is the bottom end of Rua Coronel Águas, where it goes down the hill towards the marina. |

Slowly, slowly, the pavements and roads are being rebuilt. There were even half a dozen blokes working on a Sunday,laying down the little stones. It is still hard going in some parts. The roads that were closed a month ago (see above) remain closed to all traffic. Buses are diverted, cars and taxis have to go a long way around.              |

Slowly, slowly, getting there. Pavements are re-appearing and road rollers are flattening out the surface. The road down past the old cemetery is still a bit of a state. Cannot see completion any time soon.          |
