A year since my first post on this topic. Work continues along Rua Sir Cliff Richard and Rua Coronel Águas by the old cemetery. Both roads remain closed and it seems little chance of the work being finished any time soon.     |

Slow progress! The crane at the outfall makes an ideal roost for the gulls. Pictures taken Sunday afternoon 19th October.          |

The road surface is being re-laid along part of the road, but there is a big hole where the crane is.     |

The road surface is back down along Rua Sir Cliff Richard. Pavements are also being relaid. Looks like that stretch will be re-opning soon. But not yet down the hill towards the marina, where there is still the big hole and the crane working   |

Rua Sir Cliff Richard is now open, but there is still a lot of work to be done on the road going down the hill towards the marina.   |
