   i read bad press for the strip area,is estrada de santa eulalia any better or does it get same bad press.is it better if we spend our evenings in or around the old town.opinion will no doubt be split but would like to know.

	"i read bad press for the strip area..." It's not all bad but the activities of certain groups of people bring attention for the wrong reasons. If you are an 18 - 30 party animal the dozens of bars and clubs along the 'strip' are the place to go but it's easy to avoid. Anywhere else in town is preferable for a lot of people, although in summer large and noisy groups do gather in the old town area also. Even so, there are places in the old town you can go to avoid them.

	Depends what you want and what you are used to. If you want house music and a very young crowd, and you live in a city or big town, and know how to avoid trouble then the Strip is fine. If you want a party, but without so much rowdiness and you are a bit less street wise - the Old Town. Estrada Sta Eulalia is mostly restaurants, and is not like the Strip, I wouldn't worry too much walking about around there.

	thanks for information,we have been coming to Albufeira for many years now but mostly over at other end,in and around old town.now retired but still like to go out for meals and a drink after.do you still do your quiz nights i used to read about on the forum?

	Yes - At Arte Bar, by the old cemetery. Tuesday at 10PM in winter, Monday and Thursday at 10PM in summer.
