Hi everyone, nice forum, Im moving to albufeira on the 3rd nov and im looking to rent an apt thats not too dear, its just for myself, im not a party animal but am very social 40 year old guy and single, Can anyone recommend a nice area with pleanty of bars and restaurants around or could point me in the right direction,,,,Thanks in advance, I will be just getting a cheap package holiday to get down and get my bearings but will need to get something organised quickly,,,,Paul

Have a look at http://www.booking.com Do a search for Albufeira.I have rented in the Old Town for the past 4 years,great bars,food etc

I thought booking.com is for holiday lets? cant find anything on there about long term lets,,,,maybe im searching wrong thou, thanks for the reply

Go on Google and put Long Term Rentals Albufeira. There are lots in there.

Many of the apartment hotels do very good deals for long term rentals out of season. The only small problem could be that if your stay includes Christmas and New Year. They can make £££ from visitors coming over at that time, so the deals might not be available.
If you need to know more exactly where anywhere is, ask us.
The very first one in that website mentioned in the previous post is as close to being in the centre of town as it is possible to be. If the map is accurate. I know the area well, I shall be walking past it myself in a couple of hours. There is an English owned bar two doors away and others within a few minutes walk. No parking though, if that's an issue.

the problem there is that many are prebooked for certain times of the year so getting a longterm contract from a place for 12 months im finding it difficult,,,,,il have to keep looking,
