Another rainy day ahead! It is raining steadily here in Barmouth. Temperature at 0820 is 12°. Rain forecast until lunchtime. Might have 15° this afternoon. Stoic Brits were on the beach yesterday and the windy weather was ideal for a very popular kite flying competition.

Yesterday late afternoon and evening turned out quite pleasant, if not very warm. Today looks good. Bright and sunny, not too windy and perhaps as high as 18° later!

It wasn't too bad yesterday but another grey morning in Barmouth 15° and rain in the air. 18° max today, rain fairly likely.

Very wet day yesterday for the most part, bands of cloud and heavy rain sweeping in from across the sea. Good job it wasn't too cold. Raining here again this morning and looks like it will be all day I will be off back to Eastbourne later. The forecast isn't much better there. |

Travelled down to Eastbourne yesterday, where this morning it is bright sunshine and 17°. Expecting a sunny day with a high of 20°!

After a fairly decent day yesterday, summer has returned to Eastbourne with heavy rain from low, dark clouds. It´s 15º at 0745am. The rain is supposed to pass by lunchtime and the temperature will rise to 17º. Can't wait!

It is a nice sunny morning here in Eastbourne, but not very warm. It's 16º at 0900, could rise to 18 or 19º this afternoon and it will be a dry day for a change.

Looks like being another reasonably nice sunny day today but still not warm at all. It's 13º just after 0700 and will rise to 17, perhaps 18º later but that's it.

Last full day in Eastbourne. Cloudy, windy and 17º at 0830am. Rain is moving in from the west, it's going to be a wet day from about a couple of hours time and it's not going to get any warmer.

Canterbury, Kent. Raining when I eventually got here last night. It had been a very wet day in the south by the look of the fields. Today it's reasonably bright, 15º at 0800 expecting 21º this afternoon and it should stay dry, so they say!

Yesterday turned out quite nice. Not today though. Damp, grey and 14º at 0800. Rain forecast all day with the possibility of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Maximum temperature 20º. It's not looking too promising for the cricket starting tomorrow.

Canterbury, Kent - managed to get 50 or so overs in yesterday although play didn't start until 1pm because of damp conditions underfoot and above. A satisfactory day on the field though. Today will be cold and grey, with a good chance of more rain from mid-afternoon and a maximum temperature of 17º. The rest of the week is threatened to be even colder. Should have brought my gloves, scarf and the hat with the furry ears.
