British Weather Today!

We didn't get any rain to speak of yesterday but it was very windy, especially later in the day. This morning it's a little cloudy, 17º at 0800hrs and a moderate wind. Expecting a sunny day but not very warm, 18º at the most.

Last morning in Eastbourne before I set off to warmer climes, Easyjet permitting of course. It's 16º at 0810am, with a reasonably nice day in prospect, plenty of sun and could be 20º later. Very light wind for a change.

A sunny morning In Eastbourne, but starting to cloud over ahead of expected heavy showers to follow. Temperature at 0810am is 17º, possibly rising to 20º later. I am off to Taunton later, where the weather is forecast to be fairly horrible all week.

Taunton, Somerset. Lashing down with rain and expected to be almost all day. Temperature at 0855 is 17º. I can't see any cricket being played today, so plan B will be hatched a bit later.

Another horrible rainy day yesterday, only two hours cricket possible. Today at 0800 in Taunton it is 9º, dull and grey. Showers possible all day, maximum temperature 15º. Oh to be in England!

Now in Canterbury, where the day has started dull and grey, 14º at 0745am. We are promised a bit of sun later and possibly as many as 17º! No rain expected until the first day of cricket on Tuesday. Of course.

First day for cricket here in Canterbury and of course it is dull and cloudy, 16º at 0745am. But we are promised a fairly nice day, no rain and perhaps 22º this afternoon.
