Sun beaming down from a cloudless sky! What is this?? Still cold though, 9º at 0745am. Forecast to cloud over later, maximum temperature 13º and staying dry.

Last full day by the seaside at Eastbourne. Sun's out and it is a bit warmer than it has been, 10º at 0825am and not too windy. Forecast a dry day and maybe 16º this afternoon. Typically, much better weather coming next week, 24 or 25º which is going to be hotter (and drier) than Albufeira.

Sun is up in Eastbourne on what will be a nice day. Still not very warm though, 10º at 0725am rising to perhaps 15º this afternoon. But I shall leave that behind later today. The rest of the week is forecast to have temperatures similar to Albufeira, but without the rain!

In Blackpool for the cricket starting today - if it does! Forecast for today is thundery showers and maximum temperature of 18º. Another typical summer day in Lancashire. It did rain quite hard yesterday for about three hours around lunchtime.

Only three hours cricket possible yesterday amid showers. Very wet and windy during the evening. 15º at 0745am today, grey skies, windy and rain likely at any time. Maximum 18º. Summer in Blackpool living up to its promises!

Yesterday turned out not too bad, but this morning it is 15º and raining hard. Supposed to clear up during the morning but the prospects for any cricket today look pretty slim given the amount of rain during the night. High today 18º.

Yesterday turned out not too bad, the rain stopped around 0900 and cricket started on time. Only a couple of sprinkles of rain during the day. This morning is grey and fairly dismal, a bit like Kent's performance on the field yesterday. 16º at 0800, could rise to 19º, no rain forecast here in Blackpool.

The delights of summer in Blackpool continue! My last morning here, where heavy rain woke me at 4.45am and it is still raining quite hard at 0745. 15º now, might rise to 19º later. I am off to Canterbury later, where it is expected to be in the high 20's over the next few days.

Now in Canterbury, where it is summer. 18º at 0830am, rising to 24 or 25º later in a moderate breeze. Women's T20 match this afternoon should have no weather problems.

It is summer here in Canterbury. 22º at 0845am with a high of 27º forecast. Just a light wind. Doing tourist things today. It's expected to be 30 or 31º tomorrow and Monday, good weather for sitting in the CAMRA beer tent watching the cricket.

Definitely summer here in Canterbury for the next few days. Temperature hit 28º yesterday, similar for forecast for today and 30º possible tomorrow. I shall be in the beer tent!

Another very nice day coming along here in Canterbury. It was quite cold last night, down to 16º, but already 20º at 0745am rising to 28º, perhaps more, this afternoon. Definitely beer tent weather.
