Tha last day of the year has dawned rather cloudy. It looks like it is raining out to sea, but the radar is still not working so I cannot be sure. Temperature at 0915am is 14.1º, the wind is very light. It should be a dry day and evening, maximum temperature 17º. There is a slight chance of a little rain, but on the whole nothing to disruprt tonight's celebrations. Tomorrow will be a simialr day, but a change in the wind direction and strength from Tuesday, to come more from the south, will bring slightly warmer temperatures but also a greater chance of showers, especially on Wednesday and Thursday.

Welcome to the New Year- 2024 has started with a bright but cloudy day. Temperature at 0935am is 15.1º, the is almost no wind. it will be a cloudy day, staying dry, maximum temperature perhaps 18º. It will be fairly warm tonight as well, down to 13 or 14º with the light wind coming from the south.  The warm weather will stay with us until Friday, but it's going to be warm and possibly wet weather. Tomorrow should stay dry, but here is a good chance of rain on Wednesday and Thursday, ahead of cooler weather from Friday onward.

It has been a little misty so far this morning, but the sun is starting to come through. Temperature at 080am is 15.4º, wind is very light. It is feeling damp, there will be cloud around all day. The wind will increase later, it's coming across the sea keeping it warm but damp. Maximum temperature 18 or 19º this afternoon. It will be a warm night compared to recently, no lower than 14 or 15º

There is a fair chance of rain tomorrow, but probably only light rain during the afternoon and evening with temperatures similar to today. Same goes for Thursday, then it's going to turn a lot colder, especially at night.

Damp and cloudy this morning, but fairly warm - 15.7º at 0735am. It's going to be a cloudy day, a light wind is coming from the south. Maximum temperature 18º. it will be fairly warm again tonight, 15 or 16º, but rain is on the way. And it will get colder. A cold front is heading our way from the north. Rain expected during the night and could last all day tomorrow, on and off. It won't be too cold tomorrow, but Friday and the weekend will be only around 15º in the  daytime, 8 or 9º at night. There will possibly be occasional showers.

There has been some rain during the night, but it is dry now. Rather cloudy, a very light wind from the west and temperature is 16.1º at 0840am. It looks like it's going to dry until lunchtime but more rain, perhaps heavy thundery showers, is expected this afternoon. Maximum temperature 18º.

That's going to followed by a few days of cooler daytime weather and much colder nights behind a cold front that is crossing the country. But it should be mostly dry.

Blue sky overhead, quite cloudy out to sea. Temperature at 0800 is 12,9º, windier than it has been, so it will feel a bit colder when outside. It will be a dry day, but quite windy at times. Maximum temperature only 15º. It will be cold tonight, down to 7º inland, 9º along the coast and feeling colder still in the wind.

There won't be much different over the weekend. Monday does look like being a rainy day ahead of some unsettled showery weather for the rest of the week.

Brrr! The oofficial website says it was only 7.5º in Albufeira at 0800, outside my back door at 0845 my thermometer says 11º.  It's a little cloudy with a light wind from the north. Sun is just starting to show through. It will stay cloudy, maximum temperature 14 or 15º. No rain is expected. Some good news is that the new weather radar at Loulé is now operational, so when it does rain we can now see where it is and in which direction it is going.

It won't be very warm again tonight, could be as low as 5º inland, 7º in town. A similar day tomorrow, but a change in wind direction on Monday will be bringing rain from mid afternoon  and through the night and it will be colder still. Then it should be dry but really cold until the weekend, when more rain is due.

Bright and sunny, but warm it is not. Temperature at 100am is 10.6º, wind is very light. It will be calm day, very little wind, mabe clouding over e bit later. Maximum temperature 15º if we are lucky. A cold night ahead, could be as low as 6º inland, 8 or 9º in town.

Tomorrow will start off fairly pleasant, but wind and rain is expected from mid-afternoon and through the night. Once that's past, the next couple of days should be dry but rather cold, 13º, then more rain is coming over the weekend and early next week.

It's a little cloudy this morning. Temperature at 0915am is 12.6º, wind is very light. It will stay cloudy, but around lunchtime there is a possibility of light rain, gradually getting heavier into the evening and night. Maximum temperature 14 or 15º. It won't be too cold tonight, 13 or 14º. The rain will pass during the night. Tomorrow will also be around 15º, with a chance of some showers during the afternoon and early evening. Then we should have some cloudy but dry days, but cold at night (6 or 7º inland) and 14 or 15º daytime.

Very dank and gloomy this morning after heavy rain last night. Temperature at 0915am is 13.5º, so it's not cold. There is little wind. There is band of rain heading our way from the west, so we are in for a wet couple of hours soon. Maximum temperature 17º. Once the rain passes we are in for a colder evening and night, down to 9 or 10º. Tomorrow and Thursday don't look too bad, cloudy but dry, 16 or 17º in the daytime, 8 - 10º at night. After that, it's warmer but damp weather coming from the south, rain is quite likely on Sunday and early next week.

Fairly dull and cloudy this morning, but the sun is starting to break through. Temperature at 0810am is 11.9º, the wind is very light. It will stay mostly cloudy, rain is not expected, maximum temperature 16º.  It will be s little windier tonight, with the temperature falling to 9 or 10º. There won't be much change for the next three or four days, other than the nights should be warmer. Some generally warmer, but rainy weather, is on the way for next week.

Rather cloudy this morning and quite windy. Temperture at 0800 is 12.3º. It will a lot windier later, rain is not expected, maximum temperature around 17º. It will be very windy through the evening and into the night, when the temperature will fall to around 14º but feeling colder in that wind. Very windy also tomorrow, but it's fairly warm wind from the south so not cold, could be around 18º. The wind will abate during tomorrow night. Sunday will be a warm day, 19º perhaps, but with a slight chance of a shower. Wet weather is on the way for next week though.

Cloudy and rather windy this morning, but not cold. Temperature at 0855am is 15.5º. The wind is from the south-east, across the sea, and will be with us all day. Maximum temperature will be 18 or 19º and it should stay dry. The wind will lessen tonight, which also won't be too cold at 14 or 15º. Tomorrow is also going to be cloudy and not so windy and it could reach 20 or even 21º in the afternoon. Make the most of what should be a dry day. Rain is expected to move in during Sunday night and will be followed by showery days Monday to Thursday.

Warm this morning but feeling very damp. Temperature at 11:00am is 18.2º, wind is light. Some cloud around, rain is not expected and we could have 20º later. It will be a warm night, no lower than 17 or 18º in this airflow from the south-west.

Tomorrow will also be a warm day, 18 or 19º, but rain is likely during the afternoon. Once again a warm and damp night will follow. The rest of the week will be similarly warm during the day, with a chance of showers at almost anytime, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday. Night-time temperatures will fall back to 11 or 12º by the end of the week.
