Hi, I am due to stay in the Vila Sol resort from 1st - 8th August, does anyone know if the Pestana Hotel is open? Also does anyone know of any hotels that allow non staying guests to pay for daily use of their swimming pool complex?

At the moment hotels are not allowed to admit non-guests to use their facilities, including bars and pools. Also I must point out that Vila Sol is nowhere near Albufeira. It is 19km away outside Vilamoura, a different town entirely. This is not really the place to ask.

Here is the website ... with contacts you can use .. golf was allowed to re-start a few weeks ago, so almost certainly open.
