If I am reading correctly, the residential IMI scale is being reduced from last year's 0.35% to 0.30%.
At least that's what is says in the papers. http://www.postal.pt/2016/10/albufeira-reforca-descida-de-imi-para-taxa-minima-estabelecida-por-lei/ There are also reductions for small businesses and for those with large families.
