Another poor day for the Algarve. If Paços de Ferreira win their game tonight, Portimonense and Farense will find themselves occupying the bottom two places in the table.

Both Portimonense and Farense have 24 points from 23 games. There is now a bit of a gap appearing above those in the lowest places.

Next weekend, Portimonense travel to Leiria (6th place) while Farense and their fans have to get out of bed early on Sunday for the 11:00am kickoff at home to Lourosa who are in 5th place.

With 5 games played, Ferreiras are third with 8 points. but the teams around them have played fewer games because of postponements caused by the recent very bad weather in the midlands.

	Penafiel won on Monday, so Portimonense and Farense now find themselves in 16th and 17th places. 18 teans, two go down automatically with 16th playing the team that finishes 3rd in the second division. No pressure lads. 12 games to go.

	Both Imortal goals scored by Mario Duarte a.k.a. Marocas. Imortal's cause no doubt helped by by one of the home team being sent off. The Imortal semi final is quite likely to be on 21st March, the free weekend between phases 1 and 2 of the Algarve League 1st Division. The tie will be played at the inhospitable home ground of the 11 Esperanças, the Penha 'stadium' in Faro.
