A vital win for Portimonense that propelled them from 16th to 11th place in the table. Their cause was helped by the opposition having two players sent off before half time. They are now one point above Farense. There are two games tonight. Depending on the results, both Algarve teams could drop down a couple of places.

So tight is this league table that only six points separate 6th place from the bottom 18th place.

Next Sunday, Portimonense will be at home to Feirense (13th) at 11:00. Farense travel to Torreense, who are in 9th place.

Not a good day for the Algarve. Portimonense are in 15th, Farense 16th and both too close to the relegation zone. Farense are on the slide having gone five matches since their last win. The bottom of the table is still fairly close, with 5 points separating 13th from 18th.
