Yippee, the next tournament, end Jan/early Feb probably, has been confirmed. No teams announced as yet. For the few of us that are interested, see https://theatlanticcup.com/fixtures/2026-2/

All rather underwhelming? Only one team announced with 4 weeks perhaps remaining.

As a long-time attendee at these do's, am not too worried yet, Tom.
Most years its into the New Year before the Cups proper shape emerges. Nothing so far on the official website/Facebook or X. Having said that, its still has to be a little bit 'fingers crossed'. Looking forward to getting over there for some sunshine. Will see you down at Imortal, I expect...... good start for them thusfar!

Some of our bowls matches will clash with Imortal games but I hope to be at the home games on 17th and 31st.

No sooner said than ....... teams announced for Atlantic Cup. Dallas [USA] Gothenburg [Sweden] Mjallby [Sweden] Randers [Denmark] Brondby [Denmark] Rosenborg [Norway] Real Salt Lake [USA] Artis Brno [Czech Republic] Tromso [Norway] Thus far the games are almost all at Est Algarve, with just the one at Est Nora in Ferreiras. Dates are spread between January 26th and February 9th. Kickoff times can be found o0n the competition website...... https://theatlanticcup.com/fixtures/2026-2/ From my experience, anyone planning to attend games should check the site on the day. Late changes have not been unknown. Tournament rules are also on the website. I hesitate over their efficacy as some teams are playing twice, others three times and some even four.

It was a pretty weird setup last time, with no overall winner as I recall. To highlight the one game currently planned at Ferreiras, it's on Friday 30th January ko 11:00am featuring two MLS teams, Real Salt Lake and FC Dallas. It's in my diary! As for the games at the Algarve Stadium, if you don't have a car that might as well be on the moon.
