Whereabouts exactly is Vila Branca in Olhos?
I can find one which is in Branqueira but that's not exactly Olhos D'Agua.
If that is the one you are referring to then it's quite a long walk to Olhos, there are no supermarkets in Branqueira and as far as I know there's only one bus that goes through Branqueira and that's first thing in the morning.

There are several Vila Brancas around so without knowing which one you've booked and exactly where it is, then it's difficult to advise.

Do you have a link to the website for Vila Branca?

The Giro 2 bus runs from Branqueira into Albufeira every half hour on weekdays and Saturday mornings, every hour on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. It stops outside the the two biggest supermarkets, Continente / Modelo and Pingo Doce, in the centre of town near the Watches roundabout. Fare is €1.40.

Times -  http://www.algarvebus.info/004r02.htm and note the buses go down to the Vale Navio roundabout to turn around.

If that's the Vila Branca in Branqueira of course. There is one small shop in Branqueira.

For the record there are two supermarkets in Olhos D'Agua, Intermarché and Algartalho, both on the main road about 200 yards apart.

But without knowing which Vila Branca....

seems to be this one according to the reviews below, in which case you are near the Intermarche, etc on main road ... and it would be EVA buses into Albufeira, Vilamoura, Faro, etc. ... times also on Cubsur`s site

Yes if that's the one then you've got a 5 minute walk to Intermarche supermarket, the daily market and other shops, several cafes and restaurants and the nearest bus stop and taxi rank.

Bus times are posted at the stop but be aware of a gap of nearly 3 hours on Saturdays and Sundays with no buses at at all.
