British Weather Today!

Bright and sunny at the moment, but cold! It's 8º at just after 0800. Expecting it to be fairly sunny until early afternoon, maximum 15º, but then a growing chance of yet more rain during the afternoon and evening.

Canterbury still. Another sunny but cold day ahead. It's 9º at 8am, might rise to 16 or 17º this afternoon. Prospect for next week is a much warmer few days at perhaps 20º.

The weather here in Kent continues to be fairly reasonable. 13º at 0730 with a mainly sunny day ahead and maximum 18º today and no rain.

Turned out very windy yesterday and we saw the sun for about five minutes! Floodlights were on at the cricket from lunchtime. Today starts cloudy with a bit of wind, supposed to be sunny spells later and about 20º.

It did turn out to be a fairly nice day yesterday, except on the cricket pitch! Kent relegated following a heavy defeat. Today it has started a bit dull and grey, but we are promised sunshine later and 20 or 21º. With no cricket, I am off to do tourist things.

Arrived in Eastbourne last night to be greeted by a heavy but short-lived thunderstorm. This morning it is cool and cloudy with a bit of a breeze. There's a threat of thundery showers for the whole day, maximum temperature 19º.

Cool and cloudy in Eastbourne. 16º at 1000am, might be a tad warmer this afternoon if the sun breaks through. Might be the odd shower or two. We were spared the torrential rain that yesterday affected places as little as 30 miles away.
