WWI Exhibition - Event Date: 04/October/2018 - 31/October/2018

   From the 4th to the 31st of October there is an exhibition commemorating the end of World War 1 and covering the impact of it on Albufeira and Algarvians. It is at the Espacao Multiusos - familiar to many of us as the venue for the wine festival. 

For those that don't know, it's next to Lidl.

Among other things, the exhibition contains photographs enhanced to create a three dimensional effect. 

Opening hours are 09.30-13.00 and 14.00-17.00 weekdays, 14.00-19.00 at weekends.

	Good one, many people don't know that Portugal fought on the Allied side in the First World War. I shall pop in one day on my way to the shops.

	We were also allies in the Peninsular War. There has been a treaty of friendship and mutual assistance (the Aliança Inglesa), between England (later the UK) and Portugal since 1386.
