One game confirmed

Portimonense v MSV Duisburg (3rd Division, Germany), Wednesday 8th January. The Duisburg website says it is 1530hrs, my contact says he thinks it is at 1430hrs.

Hamburg and Wolfsburg of the Bundesliga plus Vitesse Arnhem from Netherlands will be around that same week. Games are being arranged and will be confirmed soon.

The draw for the Atlantic Cup takes place on 7th January. This will take place at various stadiums around the Algarve between 31st January and 8th February. Mostly teams from Denmark and Sweden, but this year including FC Astana from Kazakhstan, who of course beat Manchester United reserves in the Europa League a couple of weeks ago.

Duisburg website would say 15:30 as Germany is an hour ahead of Portugal - Crafty........

That's what my correspondent says. Logically as 1430 start would allow the game to be played without using floodlights, which cost money.

I know only that same information. That tournament is not something my local contacts are involved with.

Since the records here and the Atlantic Cup website are incomplete, I have traced the result of
Norrkoping 1-1(1-3p) Farense from Feb 6 last at Albufeira ... which means RB Salzburg won the cup ... we can only hope the organisation improves a tad ...

My interest is that I am currently writing up Celtic and Rangers (EL32) for my website

From my experience the match details are reliable, tho very infrequently there have been last minute changes to venue and/or kickoff time. Anyone looking to attend should check the main site in advance on the day, and take subsequent note of tannoy announcements at the grounds. Final/playoffs are not usually in true order so watch/listen out for info.

About NAC BREDA, they will play day 5 vs FC SEOUL.

Don't know more info.

Vitesse has their matches scheduled, servette too, duisburg too, waalwijk too.

For those days, i dont know if wolfsburg, seoul and nac would play more matches or just the already scheduled.

Gomzalo - details of the games for the other teams are very difficult to come by. Thank you for the information.

The details for Vitesse Arnhem are :

Saturday 11th January vs Duisburg at Amendoeira Resort, Alcantarilha, ko 1500hrs

Warning! In past years the public has not been admitted to Amendoeira. it has no facilities for spectators.
