It could be a very warm day today! Maximum 30ºC is shown on the official forecast for this afternoon. Currently, at 0820am, it is 20.1º, blue sky and a light breeze. It will be a warm night as well, 23º pehaps at midnight. A change in wind direction tomorrow could bring some rain during the afternoon and early evening, but it will still be pretty warm.

It does look like Friday and Saturday could be rainy days, with the temperatures down to only 23º.

At 0830am it is already 22.4º. Sun is beaming down from a cloudless sky and a very light wind. Make the most of it. It will start to cloud over later and there is a possibility of showers from mid afternoon. Maximum temperature a very acceptable 27 or 28º. It will be a warm night, 22 or 23º at midnight. Tomorrow will be a little cooler, showers are possible more or less all day. The weekend will be much cooler, down to 23º in the daytime, showers likely.

It's very dark and gloomy this morning. Unfortunately the local weather radar is still out of action. Spanish radar shows showers heading our way from the south and south-west. They could be heavy. Temperature at 0810am is 23.1º, wind is light. It might rain any time this morning and it will be windier later. Maximum temperature could be 26º if the sun breaks through the clouds. Warm again tonight, ahead of what looks like being a rather wet and much cooler Saturday. There could be shosers around Sunday and Monday, the rest of the week should be fine and dry.

That's the last on the spot report for a while. I am off to enjoy the delights of early autumn in Somerset, Sussex and Kent, probably watching rain falling instead of cricket. Don't forget you can see the Albufeira local 10 day forecast at https://www.ipma.pt/pt/otempo/prev.localidade.hora/#Faro&Albufeira

Another hot and sunny day. Temperaature at 11.00am is 25.7º, light wind, blue sky. Could hit 30 or 31º this afternoon. It won't be quite so hot for the next few days, 'only' about 26 or 27!

The current suggests there might be wet stuff coming from the sky next weekend. What's it called now?

I saw 32 degrees on the sign at the Parafarmacia on Rua Dunfirmline this afternoon at 3.30.
Usually those are just a couple of degrees higher than the temperature actually is. Still unusually hot for second week of October and the mosquitoes are in full flight these warm nights 😬

Freezing this morning! Temperature at 0815am is 20.5º, light wind and a little hazy out to sea. It will be a little windier this afternoon, maximum temperature 25 or 25º, which even so is around 4º more than previous average for this time of year. Night-time temperatures only around 20 or 21º, so get the winter jumpers ready.

Similar weather is forecast until Sunday, when two or three rainy days are very likely.

No change forecast until the weekend. There is a small chance of rain on Saturday, stuill very warm though. Sunday does look like being rather wet from lunchtime onward, with thundery showers expected overnight Sunday into Monday. Wet weather will be likely early next week. Hooray for rain!

Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning. Cold again as well, temperature at 0800 is 20.1º, wind very light from across the sea. Maximum temperature today 26 or 27º. It will be a little windier later and there will be come scattered clouds. it will be a little colder tonight than of late, down to 19º at midnight.

Tomorrow it will be fairly cloudy all day, keeping the sun off and therefore cooler at 23 or 24º. There is a chance of a shower or two during Friday / Saturday night, otherwise Saturday should be a fairly pleasant if cloudy day and also around 23º.

Rain is heading our way, according to the forecasts, arriving Sunday afternoon and possibly to be with us for several days. Most welcome after such a long time with none. It will still be warm, in the low 20's.

It's a cloudy start to the day and it will be fairly cloudy all day. Still very warm for the time of year. Temperature at 0755am is 21.3º, wind is very light. Maximum temperature today 25 or 26º, it will be windy this afternoon. The evening will also be warm, 22º or so at midnight. There is a chance of some rain during the night and into the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Saturday will start quite nice, with the temperature peaking at 24 or 25º at tea-time but a cold fron is coming in, which will make the night rather colder than we have had lately. Sunday will be very cold, 21 or 22º at best, with rain from the early afternoon onward. Monday and Tuesday - cold, very windy and rainy.

I have to report that about six raindrops fell in Balaia at 1345hrs yesterday and a few more in town around 2100hrs. It was very humid all day. But did you see the rain in Porto last night during the Portugal v Slovakia match!

This morning it is a little cloudy, but warm, 22.2º at 0900, with very little wind. This could be the last warm and dry day for a while if the forecast is accurate. Maximum temperature 26º if the sun stays out, it could be cloudier later.

A depression off the west coast and associated cold front will bring rain to the region from around lunchtime tomorrow. That should pass by the evening, but then more rain is expected on Monday and every day next week. Temperatures will be lower than they have been, especially towards the end of the week.
