The locals are predicting a heat wave for the summer (whenever that may start)- hope so - 10 weeks and counting till we go back.

Well I will be back in Albufeira in a week or so and if it is still raining I will have to content myself with sitting in bars watching the various sporting events.
it rained most of the night here in Argeles and is about to do so again it seems.
The weather has definitely gone to pot all over.

Tipping it down in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and has been doing so since last night, continuously - not even a 5 minute break.

hey y'all.
me and my boyfriend are staying in the old town from this tuesday 17th-28th june. i have been keeping a close eye on the weather, which seems to be sunny all round.
am i right in saying this or is there still a good chance of rain at some stage?
i have only packed one pair of jeans. the rest of the stuff was made for sunny days!

It depends on how many Cubsur has to drink and which pub he's been in!!!! In truth it is a warm wind and not that strong, it is still very warm at night.

You're right and today it is forecast to be 30C or 86 in old money. My thermometer says it is 25C already and there is the barest hint of breeze - in all quarters.

We left this morning to come back to CooooooooL Ireland as Portugal was very HOT yesterday, it was nice getting off the plane but I am fed up with it already, it is June after all. I heard someone say they had 35 read on the car therm and to top that the breese I look forward to for some cooling was missing.
It rarely gets windy but at these temps you will be glad of any sort of breese, the nights have been warm too all windows open made no difference.

Quite right - yesterday evening my Portuguese neighbour said that she was feeling the heat and it that it had definitely become hotter during the early evening than when it was a bit cloudy earlier.
Up early as you can tell and my thermometer tells me it is 19C at 8am. There is a bit of a breeze this morning. Local forecast calls for 27C. There are a lot of showers over the ocean to the south but nothing here.

It's 27C in our kitchen and the fridge is working over time. The Lanlord and Landlady of our local local bar were complaining that it was too hot for them last night. If this was happening in the UK, there would be hose pipe bans, water rationing and the Daily Express saying we are all going to die and its the fault of too many Eastern Europeans comming into the country!
