Wet and windy in NE England today, 6c. But at least Durham CCC managed a win last week beating Warwickshire by an innings and 127 runs. Good being able to watch it on the telly via YouTube too.

Bah! No talk about cricket amongst us Kent supporters! And what delightful weather last in Manchester ha ha!

Today is going to be a very nice nice day here in Albufeira. An anticyclone out to the west is bringing warm air our way. The temperaure, 14.2º at 0745am, could rise to 27 or 28º this afternoon. There will be a moderate breeze all day. The temperature will fall to around 13º tonight ahead of three more ery warm and sunny days.

Rain is still forecast for Sunday.

Ha - don't talk to me about cricket. My lot lost by one run to the Yorkies earlier in the week. ONE BLOOMING RUN! I mean, if you lose a one day game by a single run you get miffed, but a four day game.

It was only the second time in their entire history the White Rose county had won by a single run.

The temperaure reached 25º yesterday and it could be hotter today.  Already at 0845 it is 16.8º, clear blue sky and a light wind from the north. It will be cflear and sunny all day, with a high perhaps of 28 even 29º this afternoon. The wind will increase a little duriigmn the afternoon.

It will be a fairly warm night, no lower than 15 or 16.

There will be some cloud around on Friday and Saturday and it won't be quite so warm, 25º perhaps. Sunday is almost certainly going to be a rainy day, with a cold front bringing showers, sometimes heavy, sweeping across the region.

It's going to be hot! Very warm already, 21.9º at 1000am. Mostly blue sky, just a few bits of high cloud here and there. Forecast for today is 28º in the afternoon, it may be a little more cloudy and not so windy as it has been. It will be a warm night also, no lower than about 18º.

Tomorrow will be a little more cloudy and a bit cooler, 25º max. Sunday though is not looking too good . A frontal system will be bringing wet weather to the region. It will pass fairly quickly, but expect rain from the early morning until lunchtime. It will be a lot cooler also, 20 - 22º.

There could be a few showers around on Monday, but the rest of the week should be fine and dry with temperatures in the mid 20's.
