A grey and chilly start to the day. Temperature at 0755am is 9.7º, sky is rather cloudy. It will be cloudy all day and the temperature is unlikely to be more than 13º. The wind is light and it is not expected to rain. It will be cold again tonight, 5 or 6 along the coast, colder inland.

Tomorrow and Thursday are going to be equally cold, much windier and with rain forecast from Wednesday afternoon through until Friday. The weekend forecast shows no let up in the cold weather with occasional showers added into the mix.

Cold and grey this morning, wind and rain on the way. Temperature at 0900 is 7.6º, sky is cloudy, a light wind. Weather is approaching from the south-west, likely to mean stronger winds and rain this afternoon and through into the evening and night. Maximum temperature 11 or 12º. (Most here cannot recall such a long spell of cold days. Cold  for here anyway.)

The rain should pass during the night. Tomorrow could be even colder then Friday and the weekend colder still! There is a chance of a shower or two on any day.

No snow here but still pretty cold. Reckoned to be the ongest spell of such cold weather for 23 years. Once again, the morning is cold, grey and cloudy. Temperature at 0910am is 9.1º, there is a moderate breeze from the north. It will stay cloudy and the temperature is unlikely to be more than 11 or 12.  It will cold again tonight. Rain is expected tonight and through the night well into Friday. Wind will be stronger tomorrow, maximum temperature perhaps 9º.

The weekend will be very cold (for here) and there could be some showers also. Possibly snow up in the hills. The outlook for next week is continuing windy and cold but mostly dry with plenty of sunshine, so it might not feel too bad.

Another grey and dismal morning. That's just the weather. Temperature at 0850am is 8.2º, it has been raining and more is imminent. It is also fairly windy.

It will be cloudy all day with rain until around lunchtime. Maximum temperature 10 or 11º but feeling much colder in the wind. Tonight could have the temperature fall to just 1 or 2º.

The weekend should be dry but very cold (for here) with daytime barely reaching 10º and nights again down to 1 or 2º in places. It should be slightly warmer next week but still pretty cold, especially at night.

Bright and cold here once more. Temperature at 0835am is 7.1º, there is a bit of wind from the north-west. It will be sunny and fairly windy today with a slight chance of a shower. Maximum temperature 11º if we are lucky.

This dry and cold weather will be with us until the middle of next week at least. It is possible that it could be less cold by next weekend.

Another bright morning and even colder than yesterday. Temperature at 0920am is 6,1º, it is fairly windy. (The warmest places on the mainland yesterday wereeAljezur and Tavira, 12.3º) It's going to be a cold day, 10 or 11º maximum. It will turn cloudy later, the wind will stay steady from the north. Rain (or snow!) is not expected, but tonight may see the temperature fall as low as 2º.

Tomorrow and Tuesday will be a touch warmer perhaps and less windy. The whole of next week should be cold and dry.

And yet another bright but cold morning ahead of a cold day. Temperature at 0845am is 6.1º in a light wind from the north-east. That wind will be with us all day and the temperature is unlikely to be above 10º.  Ther wind will ease off during the evening, then it will be another cold  night, 3 or 4º along the coast but down to perhaps 2º inland.

The rest of the week won't be much different although it is expected to become less cold by Friday.

Sun rising on a cold day once more. Temperature at 0750am is 6.2º, there is a very light wind. It will be a clear sunny day today and for once the wind will be light. Maximum temperature 13º, so a little warmer than it has been recently.

Tonight will be cold, down to about 2º inland, 4 or 5 along the coast.

It will gradually become warmer as the week goes on. By the weekend we should have the seasonal average of 16º in the day, 6 or 7 at night. Rain is not expected.

Yesterday morning there was frost on the grass at Balaia and I was hearing tales of people having to scrape frost from car windscreens. Almsot unheard of down here.

It's another sunny and fairly cold morning. Temperature at 0900 is 7.1º, the wind is very light. Like yesterday it will be nice in the sun later. The wind will be light all day and it should be a bit warmer, perhaps 15º this afternoon.

It will be cold again tonight, down to 4 - 5º.

Little change in the weather is expected for the next few days.

It was rather misty earlier but it's clearing  now. There is some cloud, but mostly blue sky. Temperature at 930am is 7.1º, there is a light wind. It will be a nice day today and we could get 14 even 15º later. Tonight will be quite cold again, down to 4 or 5º.

It will be cold again tomorrow, the weekend and Monday hould be warmer but that's ahead of some rainy days now forecast for next week.

It'sa  bit warmer this morning, a whole 9.1º at 0845am. The wind is light, there are no clouds I can see. It will be a nice enough day, dry with maximum 16º perhaps. Tonight will still be a bit cold, 6º along the coast, colder inland. The weekend will have little change in the weather, also for Monday.

Rain is expected to be coming our way from Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday and Thursday.

it's slightly misty this morning and colder than yesterday. Temperature at 0825am is 7.1º, there is just a light wind. It will be a sunny day today, the temperature could reach 16 or 17º. There won't be much wind at all.

It will be cold again tonight, down to 4 or 5º along the coast. Tomorrow and Monday will be pretty much the same as today, basically dry and cold.

Rain is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday but it might be a little warmer.

Much warmer this morning than of late. My thermometers differ, but it is already up around 11º outside. Bright and sunny once more. It may become cloudy later but with the wind having shifted to come more from the south than the north, we could have 17 or even 18º by tea-time. It won't be so cold tonight either, 7 or 8º at worst.

Tomorrow will be a simialr day, but on Tuesday a change in the weather is coming. Rain is expected from the afternoon with Wednesday and Thursday likely to be quite wet. The next few days after that will be a mixture of sunny intervals and showers but fairly warm for the time of year.

Sunny again, just a few high clouds, the mare's tails the are a prelude to rain. Temperature at 0945 is 11,7º so fairly warm. It does seem that the very cold weather is past. Today we could have 17º this afternoon, about normal for the time of year. It will stay dry. Tonight down to 8 or 9º.

Tomorrow will start off much the same, but some rain is expected during the afternoon. The wind is now more or less from the south, so bringing moist air from across the sea. Wednesday is forecast to be rather stormy, with a yellow warning for thundery showers especially during the morning. It will be quite windy on Wednesday also. Thursday won't be very nice either and that will be followed for a few days by a mix of sun and showers.
