Well we must have missed each other by a few minutes! I was in town to do my lottery (waste of money) but at about 2.30 it had started to rain and I took refuge in Wild Bill's for a pint. It was still raining when I left for Modelo about 15 minutes later and rained again on the way home from Modelo until about 4pm.

Just back from a long weekend. weather was not great! Brother Sam has been there 8 weeks now and hasn't been able to sit in the sun more than a few times (mind you it meant he had to go and sit in Eddy's bar instead, drinking copious amounts of alcohol-shame!)What is goin on? We all flew back to North East Blighty this morning and what do you know, the sun was shining! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Consistently inconsistent, Esse sou eu!

Yes I shall be relying on you lot to tell me that the weather in Albufeira is improving - two friends are lodging in my place part of the time I am away and I need to tell them good news and not to pack a mac!

I will give you Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells weather updates over the next few days which are supposed to be quite reasonable by cricket week standards.

Just returned from the most disappointing 8 days weather wise in the 15 years we have been visiting the Algarve. The only way to get the sun was to set yourself down under the cloud laden sky and wait for the sun to fight its way through and hope you didnt get wet in the meantime. The bank holiday week seems to be when the weather usually settles down for the summer - but not this year.

Looks like its been the same all over France & Spain, must be the global warming thing changing weather all around. The 15 day weather forecast on accuweather.com looks like its changing for the better, lets hope so.
