Cubsur what one of the Portuguese websites is likely to be most accurate for weather?
Thinking of coming over around the 6th or 7th April for a week but trying to avoid same as last year similar time when it poured down most of the week. Normally I'm quite lucky with weather when visiting Albufeira but would prefer to know if possible what temperature is likely to be and the sun shining is always a bonus.

The Portuguese one, http://www.ipma.pt/en/otempo/prev.localidade.hora/#Faro&Albufeira, is pretty good.

It's blowing half a gale this morning, as it has been most of the night. There is a lot of maritime agitation, probably won't be any boat trips today. And it very much hayfever time.

Other than that, it's not exactly unpleasant. Temperature at 0915am is 17.5ºC, there is some cloud but high and scattered. High today of 21ºC. Tonight it will be around 14 inland, 15 or 16 along the coast. The wind should die down during the afternoon.

There won't be much change until Sunday, when there is a 50% chance of rain.  Temperatures will remain about the same. There is a chance of rain currently forecast for all of next week.

It's not as windy as yesterday but still fairly blowy. Temperature at 08.15am is 15.1ºC, not a cloud to be seen. There is again a yellow warning for rough seas. Maximum temperature today will be around 20 or 21ºC.

Tonight it will fall to 12ºC inland, 13 or 14 along the coast.

Similar weather is expected for Friday and Saturday although it might be a bit cloudier

Sunday is still forecast to be a rainy day. There is a small chance of rain every day next week. Temperatures will be about the same as they are now.

Another fairly windy day but again not a cloud in the sky. Temperature at 1000am is 17.0ºc. Maximum today 20 or 21 at best.

There is a bunch of rain down to the south that might come our way this afternoon. Only a 34% chance says the forecast.

Tonight the temperature will fall to around 11ºC inland, 12 or 13 along the coast.

The forecast also says a big chance of rain on both Saturday and Sunday, possibly also Monday, with slightly lower temperatures. Rest of the week doesn't look too bad, but more rain probably come next Saturday.

It's fairly sunny this morning, just a bit of haze out to sea. It is windy but not as much as recently, the sea looks relatively calm.  Temperature at 0940am is 17.1ºC, so about the same as yesterday. Today we might have 22º but it will be cloudy later with a slight chance of a shower or two.

Low tonight will be around 13 inland, 14 or 15 along the coast.

Tomorrow is expected to be a rainy day with temperatures similar to today. Monday a little cooler and with a chance of showers. The rest of the week is going to be fairly unsettled, cooler and with a good chance of more rain from Thursday onward.

Finally those few who still have clocks and watches that don't self-adjust, don't forget to put them forward tonight. Summer-time begins.

There is a lot of dark cloud out there this morning but no rain, at the moment anyway. It is raining to the west and south. There is very little wind for a change, so any rain that does come our way may be slow to clear. Temperature at 0955am is 16.7ºC. Maximum today 20 or 21ºC.

It won't be to cold tonight, 14ºC at the worst.

More showers are expected tomorrow along with slightly cooler temperatures. Tuesday should be dry and back to 21ºC. Wednesday should also be dry but after that there is a more than a good chance of showers for several days.

Fairly bright at the moment with some high cloud. Temperature at 0820am is 16.2ºC. There is a very light wind. Some showers passed by during the night and there are a few more following but they are small and isolated. if it does rain later it won't be for long. Maximum temperature 19 or 20ºC. Tonight colder than it has been, 11º inland 13 or 14 along the coast.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ought to be dry and fairly sunny, but cooler and wetter weather is coming along for Friday and the weekend.

Rain missed us yesterday although it was rather stormy at times to the west around Lagos and the Cape.

Bit of a grey day and much colder than yesterday. Temperature at 0830am is 13.4ºC, very little wind. Forecast for today is high cloud and a maximum of perhaps 21ºC. No rain is expected.

It will be fairly cold again tonight, down to around 11ºC. Not much change expected for Wednesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday are going to be rainy days (but they said that about last Sunday!) as some weather comes in from the south west.

Another nice day in prospect. Temperature at 1000am is 14-1ºC, expecting 22ºC later with perhaps a bit of cloud around. The wind direction is from the north so it's going to be cold tonight, as low as 9ºC inland 10 or 11 along the coast.

Colder still tomorrow, maximum 19ºCdaytime, 8 - 10 at night. Still dry but a change coming on Friday.  Friday could be cold and wet. Heavy cloud, showers and maybe only 15 or16ºC. Same goes for the weekend. Basically, for this time of year, it's going to be cold and wet again.

Not bad so far today. Sunny day, temperature at 1110am is 14.9ºC, so about the same as yesterday. There is a little bit of wind but like yesterday it will probably be windier later. Maximum temperature today 20ºC. Cold tonight, could be as low as 8ºC inladn. Below average for early April.

There is a whole lot of nasty looking weather up north which will be coming our way. Maybe tonight, certainly tomorrow, it's going to be cold (16ºC at best), wet and windy with rough seas. Saturday and Sunday should be less unpleasant, but still with showers around.

Next week will be fairly unsettled with showers likely but temperatures back up to hte normal 19 or 20º for this time of year.

Some heavy showers during the night, it's not raining at the moment but there is more rain coming our way from the west. Temperature at 0745am is 13.6º, there is little wind.

Cloud and rain will mean it won't be much more than 16  or 17 today, much colder than recently. Tonight it will be quite cold for the time of year, down to around 10º.

The weekend won't be much better, showers and clouds right through until Tuesday.

It's raining lightly at the moment (0915am) from low grey cloud. Temperature is 12.1ºC so colder than yesterday.  It's going to be another day of dodging the showers as we did yesterday, there's a whole load of them coming from the north-west. One or two could be quite heavy but they won't last long.

Maximum temperature today no more than 17ºC. Pretty cold again tonight, down to between 8 and 10º.

Same for tomorrow and Monday, maybe a touch warmer. Things should be a little better from Tuesday but there will still be the possibility of rain on any day. Sea is a bit rough also, as it was yesterday. I doubt any boat trips will be running for a while.

Be grateful though. The north of Portugal is on amber alert for snow!

Dull and grey this morning, rain is in the air. Temperature at 0815am is 13.5ºC, it's a bit windy and there are showers coming our way from the west. So we are in for some light rain or drizzle on and off through the morning, might clear up a bit after lunch. Maximum temperature no more than 18º.

Fairly cold again tonight, down to 10 or 11 in some spots. A similar day is expected tomorrow but Tuesday should be dry, but cloudy and perhaps a bit warmer. The rest of the week has some chance of a shower or two with the daytime temperature rising from 20 to perhaps 23 by Saturday.
