Thanks for the update from the cams irishrob, I'm heading out tomorrow and looking forward to a bit of sun atleast. Being Irish its not a common occurrence

Staying in Quinta Pedra dos Bicos in Albufeira. We stayed there 4 years ago. We went in September and the weather was amazing. What about you irishrob? is this your first visit or are you a regular to the island?

i was in pria de rocha bout 3 years ago we went in june weather was good then aswel it was very windy though so i wonder is the algarve always like that,this is my first time to albufeira were staying in valmangude apartments they look nice but ive heard one or two horror storys about break*-ins in the last few months so im a bit nervous about that.

I hope that everything works out for you. We are always aware that there is a chance of breakins everywhere in the world. A lot of common sense is also needed when securing your belongings. Make sure when you arrive that you take all the right steps to voice your concerns to the receptionist/manager.

Hi Folks, I'm from Ireland too and have been going to Albufeira for a few years now. I've been staying near Valmangude and have never been burgled but I know of people who have. It's just a matter of common sense like closing your window and not following the same routine day in day out. Do what you do in Ireland and you'll be fine. Have a good one, I'm off in 7 weeks and 4 days

Rather cloudy this morning and certainly doesn't look like being as hot as it was yesterday. Rather windy as well
In two weeks time? Fingers crossed we should be 23/24C and dry but the weather has been very silly lately. |

not a problemo at all think were all dying to get over ive to wait 3 more months
 but im sure it will be well worth the wait.look up diamonds bar web cam if you can it update every 1min and is a great way to keep tabs but im not to sure how the web cam is from albufeira (web cam is in Carvoeiro)
