Quite a contrast this morning compared with the last two or three weeks. Heavy cloud, feels damp. Temperature at 0920am is 12.4º, there is a light wind from the south east. The cloud will be with us all day, keeping the temperature down to 15 or 16 at best. Rain is expected tonight which will last well into tomorrow. The wind will be stronger and the sea pretty rough. Thursday will also be a rainy day and very windy at times. The cause is a depression to the  north-west, drawing a strong and moist airflow from the south and south west across the country. Things should be a bit better on Friday and over the weekend, but rain is quite likely.

Being kept awake half the night first by howling winds then by rain lashing down was hardly ideal preparation ahead of an exciting day of doing....

Anyway things seem to have calmed down now, although it still very cloudy and still windy. Temperature at 1030am is 15,1º which may rise to 18 this afternoon. Most of the rain has passed by but there might be the odd shower or two later.

Tonight will be calm and fairly warm by recent standards, 11 or 12º is expected.

The next few days are going to be a mix of sun and showers, temperatures up around 17 or 18 in the daytime, 10 - 12 at night although it will be warmer next week.

It is calm but quite cloudy at the moment, but out to the south west cloud is banking up. That's where wind and rain will be coming from later this morning. Temperature at 0830am is 14.1º.

We can expect wind and rain from mid morning for much of the day. The maximum temperature will be about 16º. It should be a fairly quiet night and not cold, 12 or 13º. Friday will be cloudy with a chance of a shower, Saturday will start fine but rain is forecast for the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be in the 17 or 18º range, Sunday and Monday could also see showers, the rest of the week should be mostly fine and dry.

It's fairly bright this morning with some hazy cloud in the distance. Temperature at 0850am is 14.2ºC and it is a it windy. We should have a maximum of about 17º later, it will become windier still for a while and there is a small chance of a shower or two.

Tonight will be fairly calm and about 12º but a prelude to a wet and slightly cooler weekend. Rain is expected from Saturday afternoon through into Sunday and Monday. Daytime temperatures will be down to 15 or 16, nights 10 or 11. After Monday the rest of the week should be dry and nicely warm, about 19º.

A cloudy morning here, temperature at 0810am is 13.9º with just a light wind. However, wind and light rain is forecast for later. Temperature this afternoon should reach 15 or 16º under cloud and a stronger wind. Rain could persist right through the afternoon and evening. Tonight will be warm at 14 or 15º but rather damp, with rain possible on and off all night.

Tomorrow will start fairly windy, calming down later. There is a chance of showers almost all day, maximum temperature 17 or 18º. Monday looks like being another showery day then there should be three or four fine, dry and warm days, up to 20º perhaps.

Rather damp and grey this morning. We had some rain during the night but that has passed by. The rest of the day will be cloudy as it is now. Temperature at 0845am is 14.9º, there is just a light wind. Maximum today 17º under the cloud.

It will stay warm tonight, no lower than 13 or 14 but will feel damp with more rain likely tonight and early tomorrow until lunchtime. Tomorrow might even be a little warmer than today. Showers are possible on Tuesday then some nice dry days to follow.

Fairly horrible. Wind, rain, low grey clouds. An area of high pressure down to the south is generating a fairly strong airflow across the sea, bringing warm but moist air across the country. It's not cold, temperature at 0830am is 15.1º but outside it's not altogether pleasant at the moment!

The rain will clear by lunchtime ahead of a cloudy afternoon with maximum temperature likely around 19º. It should be a calmer night, 1 or 15º. Tomorrow might see some showers, it will be cloudy and about 18º. Wednesday and Thursday should be fine and dry, possibly 21º which is warm for the time of year. After that, a mix of sunshine and showers for a few days.

It is quite foggy this morning, barely any wind, but not cold. Temperature at 0815am is 15.9º.

It's going to be a cloudy day with a chance of some rain later. Top Temperature perhaps 18º. It will be fairly warm again tonight, no lower than about 15º. Tomorrow and Thursday should be warm (21º) and dry but rather cloudy at times. Then will follow some slightly cooler days with showers possible.

That "later" came quite early, went out for a walk about 9.15 and got pretty damp about ten minutes in...

A much nicer morning than yesterday, which isn't difficult! Mostly sunny, some broken cloud up high. Temperature at 0825am is 16.1º, there is barely any wind.

It might be a bit cloudy today but it will stay dry and also be quite warm, 20 or 21º expected. It will be a little cooler tonight than it has been, 12 or 13º. The wind is from the north.

Tomorrow will be similar to today, Friday and the weekend will be a slightly cooler with an outside chance of some rain.

6pm this evening

It's going to be a nice day today, temperature could reach 20 or even 21º this afternoon. A sunny morning to begin with, just a few wisps of high cloud and very little wind. Temperature at 0830am is 14.2º. There might be some thin cloud later and perhaps some fog like yesterday evening, when the valley of the marina suddenly filled up with dense fog at around 5pm.

Tonight will be calm and about 13º.

There will be little change for tomorrow and Saturday except that there is a small chance of a shower on Saturday afternoon. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday look to be dry but a little cooler than now, rain is forecast from Wednesday onward.

Damp and foggy this morning. Temperature at 0900 is 14.1º. The air is still, perhaps the fog will take a while to clear. It's going to be murky or cloudy all day and unlikely to be warmer than 16º. It won't be cold tonight, 12 or 13º, but will feel damp.

Tomorrow will start OK but it will be rather windy as the day goes on with a fair chance of some rain. Maximum 17 or 18º. Sunday will also be windy at times with the good chance of rain during the afternoon. An unsettled week is likely to follow, with rain and much cooler temperatures highly likely from Wednesday.

Yesterday turned into one of those dank and dreary days many of us moved here to avoid! Today has started better although there is a lot of cloud, particularly out to the west. Temperature at 0855am is 14.7º. It will be fairly cloudy today, there is a slight chance of light rain this afternoon, it won't be very windy and maximum temperature 17 or 18º.

Tonight will be 12 or 13º and calm. Tomorrow it will be windier, rain is probable during the afternoon with the temperatures similar to today. Monday and Tuesday don't look too bad but from Wednesday it will be cooler all round and with rain more than likely at any time.

Very cloudy this morning but rain is not expected. Temperature at 0840am is 14.7º, there is very little wind. Clouds are moving west to east which will be the pattern for the day. Maximum temperature 18 or 19º. A calm night is forecast, temperature 13º.

Tomorrow will be a little cooler otherwise much the same. However overnight Tuesday the wind will be shifting around to some from the south and bringing rain with it for Wednesday through to the weekend. It could be raining at almost any time, with the temperature down to 15 or 16 in the day, 8 - 10º at night so quite cooler than it has been recently.
