1pm on Thursday 26th and it is 28C/82F in the shade out the back. A little breezy today, which is keeping it nice while I work.
Faro airport is currently showing 30.7C or 87F. The forecast suggests it might be a little cooler (24C) on Saturday. |

9am in Albufeira and it is 25C/76F blue skies but slightly hazy looking out to sea. The radar shows a few showers way off the coast.
Light breeze from the north, forecast high 31C. In the Alentejo district (Beja, Evora etc) they are forecasting 39C/102F today, similar in Castelo Branco. Saturday's forecast has been changed - it should be the same as today. |

330pm and it's now 30C/86F in the shade out the back. Really gets the washing dry quickly!
Wind's getting up a bit as well, 20 - 25kmh It looks like a storm may be building up out to the west of Lagos, there are certainly some blobs on the radar. |

Yes, I saw that it was a bit warm in Seville. Weather warnings were issued for central and southern Spain yesterday, as well as the Alentejo.
Just by way of comparison, in Kuwait today they forecast 49C/120F with 6% humidity, which I can only liken to sitting in an oven. Here the relative humidity is more like 66%. It's just coming up to 1000am here in Albufeiira and it's 26C/79F, no wind to speak of and my fan is doing overtime. Forecast high 29C and the next few days look like being much the same. The hot weather has brought the bugs out unfortunately, so its off on a killing spree once the washing's out. Have a nice day. |

came back to ireland on saturday after spending 12 days in albufeira old town. the weather was absolutely amazing! it got a bit cool in 2 evenings - i think that was last weekend and it got a bit windy in the evenings too, but i was glad of that wee wind! it sucks so much to be back in horrible wet ireland. i miss sunny albufeira sooo much!
 although the one thing i don't miss is all those hills and steps!  we stayed in albufeira jardim apartments and it was a nightmare carrying groceries etc up each day! but the view from our balcony was so worth it though! |

Brrrr! it's absolutely freezing here!! 925am and it's only 24C/74F. I hope it gets warmer later as I am going out. Forecast high 30C with light winds, variable. The radar shows some showers far to the north and out to sea but nothing here.

It's just after midnight and it is 26C/76F but it feels hotter, more humid.
It was 32/90 in Faro this afternoon. Same forecast for the next few days, possibly a tad less hot. |

The radar shows a whole bunch of rain off to the south but it's not coming this way. Much the same tomorrow but cooler on Sunday. |
