Saturday at 0930 and it is a mere 20C/68F - positively Arctic - and there are clouds in the sky, lots of them. Nevertheless, today's forecast high is 29C, remaining dry.

By the way meteo.pt have changed their website and some of the links posted in the past no longer work.

After a power cut...

Yet another sunny day 25C/77F hardly any wind. Forecast high 27C.

Some weather forecasts are suggesting we will hit 100F by next Tuesday.

1045am and another glorious sunny day here in Albufeira. 24C/75F, a little bit breezy, a few high clouds  but otherwise no problems.

I have been out early today, returned a short while ago somewhat sweaty. Temp etc same as this time yesterday but feels warmer somehow.

Last night definitely would have!

1145am and its 26C/78F, a few clouds high in the sky, forecast high 28C. Little or no wind at the moment.

The biggest pain is going to be in my wallet - root canal treatment needed on me right upper canine.

Weatherwise it has come over a little cloudy and hazy over the last couple of hours but i's still  a pretty nice 26C/79F out the back.

 Cubby,Hope you dont experience too much pain at the dentist, at least you will be able to sit in the sun after with a nice beer, instead of  huddled under  a brolly with yer woollies on like us lot here in UK.

It's a bit cooler and windier here today, 25C/76F. Just heard on the radio that the Wimbledon final is delayed owing to rain and that Silverstone is blustery, wet and chilly!

945am and it's 24C/74F forecast high 31C/86F light winds from the north or east.

The radar shows a whole bunch of rain off to the south but it's not coming this way.

Much the same tomorrow but cooler on Sunday.
