Sorry to hear about Arte bar, tough year for everyone and we haven't seen the last of it yet.

Arte Bar was going to close down anyway, before the 'crisis' hit. Another local victim at this end is Victoria Bar, which remains closed.

Victoria bar was open a couple of weeks ago when we were there. I think it was only opening in the evenings. Not sure if it has closed again but I'll check on Thursday when we go back! Pity about the Arte Bar, hope it re-opens at some stage, even if it has new owners!

You might be right about Victoria Bar. When I walked back home those last two evenings I didn't look around the corner. I will tonight, if I remember after an exciting and thrill packed evening of sports excellence.

Victoria was open the other day when I walked past.
Doesn’t seem to have regular hours as such cos it was closed yesterday. As Cubsur says, will check on way home tonight.

It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

Is 15 more people in a population of 440,000 really that serious?

Looking at daily Covid figures without context is pointless. Germany had over 1500 cases in one meat factory, it doesn't mean that the general population 10 miles from the plant were at a significant risk.

Well obviously Boris thinks it's too dangerous to come here. Goodbye British, see you whenever.

It’s very sad to see the cases increasing as they are in Portugal, the Algarve has escaped the high number of cases up until now ,and no one wants to see them go up ! but if the people from the north keep coming down it’s going to get worse very quickly ! It doesn’t appear to be the tourism industry causing the issues up there, but the Algarve will sadly pay the price ! Very sad
