Best to use a lawyer. I had a rental contract for one of my restaurants and a couple of years ago ran it by my lawyer who made considerable changes to it to comply with the law and to offer me good protection if things went wrong. Should you wish to try a lawyer I can recommend Rita Branco of Allawyers in Almancil. She would need all the legal details of the apartment to include on the contract and once done, in future you could use the contract again by changing names and dates.

I want to ensure the lease agreement covers all necessary legal aspects and protects both parties. Any suggestions on reputable sources or websites where I can download or purchase a comprehensive and current rental agreement would be greatly appreciated...
