Bagatelle - locked and shuttered last night, an old pile of builder's rubble outside the door. Also closed is Sitio de Mario beneath.

The old Imortal pavilion has seen no work in months. The fence at the side has come down, revealing what was either a yard or a garden in the past.   The cottage next door looks to have been finished off nicely, but who's going to want to live next to a massive building site?  And further into town the conversion first seen over a year ago seems to also have stalled.  |

Yes and the Old Bagatelle restaurant opposite is being renovated, all the signange for Bagatelle has gone so we will have to wait and see.

Little progress! Although this little shrine or water fountain has been done nicely.  They won't be coming soon! The site has been abandoned and the doorways bricker up to prevent vagrants from sleeping there. This was the old Imortal sports club HQ, empty for many years.  Although next door work continues.  This one, in the alley leading up to the church, is going along very slowly.  |

The one opposite the Indian Nights, Travessa dos Arcos corner, is well on the way to completion.  The other, in the alley near the church, is going very slowly!  |

Some progress. Also, a set of railings has appeared on the footpath up by the church, helpful to us old people up the hill after a good night out!    |

The new building opposite Indian Nights restaurant is coming on fast. A whole new front in likely.   This is the front above the shops on Rua 5 de Outubro  And this is the one in the little alley (Travessa André Rebelo) that goes up from Rua 5 de Outubro towards the church  |

I was able to go up on the roof of the apartments above Indian Nights restaurant for this view of the extensive restoration of the building across the street, on the corner of Rua dos Arcos.  |

Updates to those above plus a new one (the yellow one) up at the corner of Rua Samora Barros and Rua Diogo Leote. Work was proceeding apace everywhere.     This one is opposite the parish church and looks more like a restaurant than holiday apartments.    |
