And Shalom 2 is at the back of Shalom 1! There's also a fourth one, the build your own burger one which is where Shalom 2 used to be, but they haven't put the Shalom Monica on that one, yet! Confused? You soon will be when... (Now there's a quiz question, what tv programme was that part of the introduction to? 😉) | Soap ?

Shalom 2 for the ribs, no question. They all have different signature dishes, the other two have chicken (wings I think) and mixed grill as their's, but all three menus are very good, varied and different. But ribs? As it says on the poster, best in town and eat as many as you want, Shalom 2. I'd recommend booking though, in high season we've seen 20+ strong queues waiting for a table, it's that good.

Sorry for all the questions but it seems a bit confusing,at this rate I will just end up going to Mc Donald's lol

Confusing? It's enough to turn you into a vegetarian! Too harsh?

Windmill Hill Boy has it correct. Directly behind Pensao Albuferense which is just off the square at the start of Av. da Liberdade. You can see Pensao Albuferense on Google Earth street view. Shalom 2 used to be beside Central Planet but moved, last year I think. For what it's worth I ate there a couple of years ago and enjoyed he ribs, many of them. I think it cost about €12.00 then.

It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

The one next to Central Planet no longer has the Shalom name attached to it. Whether it still has anything to do with them, I don't know.

AA, yes they own the 'Build your own Burger' one as well but they haven't put the Shalom monica on that one, I'll ask Oded if they are going to.

Ok, finally got round to it last night.
As most will know, Shalom is on the Ave de Liberade, practically opposite is also Shalom.
On the street behind in what was The Cave Restaurant you will find Shalom 2 which do the ribs deal, although they will also do the ribs in Shalom.
The restaurant next door to Central Planet which used to be Shalom 2 is now called Burger Bar. Although there is no signage mentioning Shalom, it is owned and opperated by the Shalom people.
So 4 altogether and all seem to be doing very well indeed.

The ribs in Shalom are truly excellent, melt in the mouth as well as moist and tasty! We will visit their again next time in Albufeira
