SALGADOS DUNES AND LAGOON

It's just the nitrogen cycle... in most inland lakes this gets stabilised after a few cycles.Given the location of this lake, it suffers drought, salt water invasion, storm... et all, ie. one extreme to the other in weeks, never mind years, so the natural nitrogen cycle never gets chance to balance, long term... Give mother nature a fair crack and it will balance, give her an unfair crack, she'll still sort in time but you'll see these various repeated conditions of the cycle on the various attempts to sort/balance. It's just nature, and nature will out.

that's what keeping koi carp does to you Tom, you quickly learn that to do it at all with any degree of success you first have to be a water keeper, so the nitrogen cycle is one of the very first things you need to learn about.. Sad eh?

I recall reading that small area is gay men only.

There is a small number of men on their own but we tend to ignore them when they get to close or "pervy",so we usually use the spots about 500 yards from where the boardwalk ends from the beach cafe(carlos bar) there is a more mixed group of male & female sunbathers there
