Having previously visited the Arrifana and Aljezur area, yesterday we had a great day out exploring the west coast again. Driving to the impressive Praia da Bordeira with it's sweeping beach, craggy cliffs and Atlantic rollers it's easy to see why its popular with surfers.
We then drove down the (bumpy) coastal track to Siteo do Forno for lunch then on to Praia do Amado passing numerous amazing views and photo opportunities along the way. Probably about 100 miles or so in total. If you have access to a car this makes a great day out. I have attached a few of the many photos I took to give you a flavour. |

Yes, it's lovely around that part of the coast. We did a similar trip around the west coast when we hired a car. Great photos.

Excellent photos, thanks. I have only been up that way once, not having a car, but it is certainly worth the trip.
