Just a few random pics, the first is probably the most photographed view in all the town.
Lovely atmosphere down there, both today around lunch time and a couple of nights ago, it really is a lovely place.

The old town looks pretty busy. More than can be said for the Strip and areas surrounding.

Sure I can help you out. Which way did you come in.

Yes Chloe, it is pretty busy.
June and September are probably our favourite months, temperature just right and numbers of people around, also just right. As I said, lovely atmosphere around the square and nearby.

Do you think September has been busier than usual? Sitting in UK trying to find a cheap deal for first week in October makes it seem that way, prices have really held up and not a lot of hotel space outside of Muthu establishments.

I do, but I suspect people not wanting to go to Turkey and that side/area of Europe may have swelled the number of visitors here.

Was busy out here the last two weeks but this week it's fallen off the cliff.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

We usually stay in the Oura, St Eulalia area but there appears to be a massive Irish music festival on first week of October. Maybe this has filled the hotels?

As we were, clear blue skies, not a drop of breeze, absolutely dead still and 21 degrees already, high 20's forecast for later, might even make 30 and this at the end of September!

Great photos, its good to see you posting again. I've never been to Albufeira when the Christmas decorations have been up so it's nice to see them even if it isn't in person. 👍📸

Nice pix Steve, thanks. BTW Show Your Favourite place is buried in page 3 as there has been nothing new since May.

It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams
