On the abandoned bridge construction near Albufeira Camping. Must have taken ages!

No it does not. Graffiti of this type is everywhere here as the young people who do it know they will not be punished.

Awful mess.

From my very first visit to the Algarve well over 30 years ago there has been graffiti all over the place. It's a real blight on the scenery and some lovely buildings.

Unfortunately not only is there little/no punishment but the authorities don't make much of an effort to clean it up. Its evident as soon as you drive away from Faro airport, not a great first impression for new tourists.

Grafitti are around and don't add to the "Algarve experience".  I'm so used to seeing them at home that I mostly ignore them.  Just like numptys who walk around with their eyes glued to a phone screen and blunder into people they are omnipresent.  I'm more bothered by the original vandalism, leaving what appears to be an airport blast screen at the end of the marina. How can that be made worse by a bit of paint?

It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams
