Hello All,

I've always wondered if there's a lemon & lime etiquette......ie if a lemon tree in someone's garden overhangs on to the street, can I "pinch" a lemon from it?

Thanks
M.

I've seen a chap with a basket picking lemons of someone tree once...got a good handful and wondered off , so I guess it must be acceptable 🤔 or don't get caught 😂

Thanks A9ndy!
I'd only want one lemon but would probably get caught whilst choosing my favourite one!!

Was he riding a bike, camera round his neck, possibly a red and yellow card in his pocket with whistle in hand?

Not guilty! There is such a lemon tree just across the street from me, tempting but I wouldn't nick stuff from people's gardens. I do know of an abandoned orchard of clementines not far from here which is fair game and some orange trees near Balaia also.
