Be aware, friends who attended this event last time it was in Albufeira said there was no provision made for any spectators, at all, not even a stall selling water. They may have upped their game this time?

Will be trotting along this morning to have a look as it's only 15 minutes walk down the road.
You can watch a live stream of it here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SG7OCZIHY4&feature=youtu.be" rel="nofollow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SG7OCZIHY4&feature=youtu.be

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

A few pictures - quite a large crowd (probably 1,000+), good atmosphere, quite a nice day, water available but sadly not a burger van to be seen (or any other food) Confused
Stayed for about an hour.
Pictures from first race - Girls Under 20's, won by a Dane with a couple of Turks in 2nd & 3rd places.
Sorry for thumbnails but picture uploady thingy not working

Good day but it's strange that local entrepreneurs don't take advantage. I know there are a couple of caffs down towards the Alfamar but it's quite a long walk.
