hello hows the weather at the moment will be over in albufeira on the 31st of December 2 days from now for 9 nights is it worth bringing shorts with me thank you ------------- a downie |

How would anyone else know what someone else's tolerance is to temperatures for wearing shorts ? Some people will not wear shorts until it's scorching hot,and yet you have others like my postman who wears shorts in sub zero temperatures. Without trying to sound rude,why not just look at the weather forecast and make you own mind up. |

It is going to be raining on and off from Monday and through the week, so if you are in shorts at least wet legs are easier to deal with than wet trousers. Last night in the pub there were loads of tourists in shorts and t-shirts shovelling it down in quantity then in walks Byron, with about six layers on, looking as if he had come from the North Pole. Shorts!!! Probably with a soccer club shirt. Whatever became of style? My preference is for a light linen jacket and trousers and, of course, a pair of espadrilles. So good on yachts where the decks are often wet. Topped off with a panama hat, naturally.
