The Santa Claus Walk / Run, an activity that over the years has been marking the festive calendar of the holiday season in Albufeira, is returning on December 18th. The meeting point is scheduled for 10:00 am, next to the Caliços Municipal Market. This Christmas do sport! Get Involved!
The traditional Santa Claus Walk / Run is back in Albufeira on December 18 (Sunday) to color and liven up the city's streets.

The event, which forms part of the Regional Race and Marching Calendar of the Algarve 2016/17, is part of the National March and Race program of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth.

The Santa Claus Walk / Race starts at 10:00 am, next to the Caliços Municipal Market, where around 800 participants from various parts of the Algarve are expected. After receiving a Kit / offer with water, fruit, t-shirt and a Santa's cap, sportsmen, dressed to perfection, prepare for a pleasant morning of sport and socializing. There are two courses, completely free and accessible to all - 4 and 9 km distance - that can be run or walked, according to the preference and physical preparation of each person.
