I want to meet some friends who are staying in Sao Rafael but I am coming from Ferragudo and none of us have cars. If I take the bus from Ferragudo to Portimao I can get to Albufeira but the bus station seems a long way from the centre of Albufeira. I think there is a bus to Sao Rafael from Albufeira but it all looks a bit complex. Can anyone advise a better way of trying to meet my friends?

Not really. Might be a bit easier to meet them in Albufeira itself, it'll take about 15 mins to walk from the bus station to the old town (or get a cab for about â‚¬5).

Here's the Sao Raphael timetable, so you can tell them when the buses come...
